Want to go out on that hot summer day to a ren faire, a medieval market, or a medieval-themed wedding? Maybe you planned your wedding in the middle of your countries warmest month. Don't worry, this dress has you covered.
The medieval dress Ceres is the perfect choice if you say yes to any of the above. It is very light and airy. But it doesn't leave you half-naked.
And when it is not about the summer heat, stifling air in closed rooms isn't that much of a problem with this dress either. Just think of that indoors convention.
Just in case you want to wear it outside on cooler days: you can pair it with a nice underdress. Or just put a simple long sleeve underneath. I won't tell anybody.
I tried this dress with a lot of settings, from Viking valkyrie to priestess and druid to plain medieval setting. It always works. And you can give it your very own spin, cause this dress will be made in your color of choice and your fabric of choice. You can even give it the last finishing touches with the perfect trim. I will handpick options for you and you choose the one you like best.
It is done to your true measurements, too. So no issues with choosing your size and hoping for the best.
STYLE
Key features of this dress are:
- loosely cut in an A-Shape. Adjust it to your waist with a belt, a waist cincher or even a corset.
- comes with a long belt (like the one on pictures 1-4)
- closes at shoulder and elbow with (fake) button closures. (This is sewn down really well. It will not rip off or just fall apart!)
- sleeves are open all way from the shoulder so seam so you don't get too hot (or you can show off your nice dress worn underneath)
- small train if you want it (if not, please tell me)
- sleeves are really long, reaching down to the floor (yes, I can shorten them. Just tell me how long you want them)
Please note: The sleeves have no seam (see video for this). I use the raw edge of the fabric to give it a more ancient and natural feel. This will not fray.
